The tour will highlight the issues facing Connecticut’s working families — tax reform, school funding deficits, energy costs, threats from the federal administration, and more — and the need for new leadership. At each stop, Elliott will be joined by local leaders, stakeholders, and community members.

The Connecticut High School Democrats, the official high school affiliate of the Democratic Party, has endorsed State Rep. Josh Elliott, the House Democratic Co-Chair and progressive leader running to be Connecticut’s next governor.

In the past week, the state has seen a student detained by ICE, the city of New Haven sued over its immigrant protections, and an uptick in ICE’s presence in Norwalk. All signs that Trump is targeting Connecticut again.
