“If you’re afraid to take off your gloves, then this isn’t the job for you” 

“Last night’s debate made one thing crystal clear — Ned Lamont is wrong for this moment. He’s naive about the threat we’re facing: ICE is attacking our neighbors and he’s devoted to a regressive tax system that favors billionaires at the expense of working families. He thinks only his immediate neighbors deserve real infrastructure, and fully-funded schools.

“Lamont will keep holding his hands behind his back and tell you nothing can change, but I know it doesn’t have to be this way. We can fight for fairness at every level of state government. I’m going to take on the rising costs that are making this state unlivable for working families. I will dismantle the unfair tax system that protects the wealthy few at the expense of everyone else. I am ready to fight for all 3.7 million people in this state, even when it’s hard.”
